As a photographer, I am often asked, “What is your favorite thing to photograph?” I always answer,
“Emotion.”
And in what ever way it comes…it can be found in the smile of a stranger, in the way the weather tickles nature, in the beauty of the undiscovered, the comfort of simplicity, in the chaos of a winding street, in the arms wrapped tightly around loved one, in the majesty of a mountain, in the tears of a waterfall, in the giggles coming from the other room, in the steam escaping from a warm soothing cup of tea, in whatever is in between you and me. It’s the little things that make the big moments, the feeling that vibrates between your heart and mine.
I’ve never met a soul who does not have the ability to shine, walked a street without resilience in its path, held an object that meant nothing to anyone or saw an animal without freedom in its eyes. My camera helps me see these things for myself and the world.
